Choose from our book packs aimed at readers from birth to 12 years old. There are currently 6 themes:

We have hand selected books we think you’ll love. We don’t just choose the bestsellers, we find the unsung heroes of these genres. Let us know your child’s age range. Please note this is not a subscription box service – instead you get to buy as many boxes as you want, and you can stop ordering whenever you want to, too. Let’s get started!

Baby Box
Books for New Babies: Start your baby’s first library! This box contains a selection of 4 of the best baby books and it makes a wonderful Baby Shower present.
Age 0-2.
Adventure Box
This box serves up adventure and mystery. Get your kids engaged with a book that grabs their imagination from the first page! Tailor-made to your child’s age from 5-12.
Lovely & Local Box
This pack celebrates our talented South African authors and illustrators. All our books are chosen from the best of SA – with sensitivity for diversity and equality. Age 0-12.
Comedy Box
Does your child love to laugh and see the silly in life? Then this is the box for them. Perfect for reluctant readers too! Let us know their sense of humour and we’ll find the funny. Age 4-12.
Adventure Box
This box serves up adventure and mystery. Get your kids engaged with a book that grabs their imagination from the first page! Tailor-made to your child’s age from 5-12.
Creativity Box
We’ve gathered our favourite books on being creative – just let us know your children’s age range and we’ll send them to you. DIY is always a good idea! Age 3-12.
Terms and Conditions:
1. The Book Box can only be delivered to main centres within South Africa. We can cover other oiutlying areas, but a further courier charge will apply.
2. The books may not be returned. While we try purchase books everyone will love, if you have the book already, or don’t wish to keep it, please gift it on.
3. The cost of the boxes is R600 for three to four books, depending on the box selected.
